Aaron Conway Strength & Conditioning Coach, Soft Tissue Therapist

Aaron Conway – Strength & Conditioning Coach, Soft Tissue Therapist.

Having participated in sports from the age of 6 I have experienced the highs and lows of performance and injury. All of which has led me along the path to where I am today.

Having competed in multiple sports, from Swimming, Football, Hockey to basketball it was clear at the age of 14 that my biggest passion fell between Rugby and Cricket. From the ages of 15-18 I represented the County of Devon on behalf of both. Before laying down my bat at 18 and putting all of my energy in to Rugby. When I started my BTEC in Sports Performance I was lucky enough to gain a scholarship with Exeter College who at the time was home to the Exeter Chiefs Academy.

At the start of my second year the Academy moved from Exeter College to Bicton College, in which I followed pursuing the big Dream.

Along the way I picked up injuries as does everyone who pushes their body to the limit on a daily basis, but it wasn’t until I pushed too far which meant that Rugby had to take a backward step, in which it did for a few years. It was from my own experiences that my passion for the human body and performance grew and to this day continues to grow. I have a strong interest in Injury Rehabilitation and Injury Prevention which drives my treatment plans that I put in place for you, my goal is not to just help you, but educate you so that you can help yourself.

I have been fortunate enough to find myself in many different positions which have all helped me grow and progress, I have been a qualified personal trainer since 2013, Strength & Conditioning Coach since 2016 and ISRM Level 5 Soft Tissue Massage and Remedial Therapist since 2017. Throughout my journey I have not stopped learning, and will not stop. My goal is to help others achieve their goals, no matter how big or small, I will give you all the tools I can to help you build your goal.

I have a passion for the Anatomy of movement and optimizing movement to build efficiency throughout your chosen activity. Whether its gardening, walking along coastal paths, running a 5k, 10k, marathon or to compete in your chosen sport or activity at the highest level.

Nobody should have to do so whilst in pain; nobody should have to stop doing what they enjoy because of pain. It is this belief that drives me to find ways in which I can help you improve your movement, improve your physical capabilities and do so pain free.
